No walk is scheduled on the site right now. The next walk will be called in the locality group. That group is the source of truth.

Indiranagar has so far walked on roughly weekly Wednesday evenings, gathering toward sunset. This is not a binding rhythm. Some weeks there is no walk; some festival evenings ask for an extra one. The locality holds the cadence loosely. Walks are called in the group.

· the anchor ·
Ananta is the first anchor of the Bangalore (Indiranagar) walks. He carried Vitthal and Rukmini on the founding walk of 23 April 2026, and has anchored most of the walks since.
The role of an anchor is small and specific: to carry the murti when a walk is called, to lead the singing, to keep the pace gentle, and afterwards to step back. Anchors are per-locality. They are not founders. They are not teachers. The form continues without them when they cannot walk.

The third walk was barefoot, and quieter, and held three shrines in its mouth. The anchor carried the garlanded murti down Old Airport Road with the soles of his feet on the warm road, and at every temple along the way the procession stopped, and bowed, and went in.

The second walk found its music on the footpath. We sang outside shopfronts and waited at signals. A woman raised her arms in front of a bank. By the time we reached the gate, the small procession had become a quiet little band.

A dozen of us walked a small procession under the evening canopy. The city paused. Strangers folded their hands. A rickshaw driver stepped out of his auto and bowed.
